The Role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead the team at Cézan. This is a hands-on role requiring strong leadership, operational expertise, and a guest-first mindset. You’ll oversee day-to-day service, manage staff, and ensure Cézan delivers exceptional experiences that reflect the premium standards of Krinklewood Estate.
This is a full-time on-site role, Thursday to Monday.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, train, and inspire the front-of-house team to deliver warm, professional service
- Hire and train new staff as required to support growth and maintain standards
- Manage rosters at least one month in advance, ensuring efficient coverage
- Be across major events happening at Krinklewood and staff up or down accordingly (including closing Cézan on key wedding days when required)
- Manage daily operations including floor management, service flow, and cash handling
- Oversee and manage reservations through Tock, ensuring optimal pacing and guest experience
- Manage POS through Square, including menu items, pricing updates, and stock management
- Complete end-of-week reporting on sales, service performance, and operations
- Provide ongoing training and mentoring of staff to maintain high service standards
- Collaborate with the cellar door team to promote wine pairings with food
- Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service and menu delivery
- Generate and implement ideas to drive restaurant visitation and repeat business
- Maintain high standards of presentation, efficiency, and hospitality
- Assist with supplier coordination and stock control
- Support estate-wide events and activities when required
- Act as a key ambassador for Krinklewood Estate and our brand values
You Bring
- Proven experience in restaurant or hospitality management (premium dining highly regarded)
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving abilities
- A guest-first mindset with genuine passion for hospitality
- Knowledge of wine and food pairings (training provided if needed)
- Flexibility and commitment to working across Thursday–Monday operations
