We’re looking for a 2nd or 3rd year Apprentice Chef to join the opening team at Cézan Trattoria & Bar, a new trattoria and wine destination on the breathtaking Krinklewood Estate in the Hunter Valley — launched in collaboration with the acclaimed team at Fennel & Co.

This is a rare opportunity to grow your skills in both fine dining and large-scale event catering, working with premium produce, seasonal menus and a small but passionate team.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Hands-on support in daily mise en place, prep and service

  • Learning directly under an experienced Head Chef and award-winning team

  • Assisting across multiple styles of service — from restaurant to events

  • Helping bring to life an evolving menu focused on produce, flavour and simplicity

  • Working in a calm, collaborative kitchen culture that values learning and growth


We’re Looking For

  • A committed 2nd or 3rd year apprentice chef, passionate about cooking and eager to learn

  • A great attitude, work ethic and willingness to be part of a close-knit team

  • Interest in Mediterranean-style cuisine and seasonal, produce-led cooking

  • Availability across weekends and events

  • Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, positive kitchen environment
