2015 Basket Press Shiraz

Grape Varietal— Shiraz

 

MUSEUM RELEASE ~ Deep ruby red with a purple hue, upon release this wine displayed black plum and dried spice savoury notes, which are still evident. The palate had ripe cherry, plum and berry flavours balanced with well integrated smooth French oak. This wine still exhibits great structure and the savoury, earthy, spicy characteristics have softened into a smooth velvety aged Shiraz. A special wine put aside for our members, lovely to be enjoyed now, no need to cellar further.
